Transition of state’s transportation sector to electric mobility

Make Gujarat a manufacturing hub for EVs and ancillary equipment

Encourage start-ups and investment in the field of electric mobility and associated support sectors such as data analytics and information technology

Improve the environment quality by reducing air pollution

Key Highlight
Demand Incentives:

Incentive of Rs. 10,000 / kWh to e-2W (max ex-factory price of Rs. 1.5 lakhs), e-3W (max ex-factory price of Rs. 5 lakhs) and e-4W (max ex-factory price of Rs. 15 lakhs)

Target to have 2.0 lakhs EVs across segments by 1st July 2025 (1.1 lacs e-2Ws, 70,000 e-3Ws and 20,000 e-4Ws). Subsidy to EV user will be disbursed directly to the EV user via DBT mode

      Charging Infrastructure  

25% capital subsidy (up to Rs 10 lacs / station) for first 250 commercial public charging stations (for e-2W, e-3W and e-4W)

No objection certificate to be provided to all members of housing and commercial establishment for setting up charging stations

DISCOMs shall allow EV charging from the existing connection at the existing tariff (except from agriculture connection)
